Poppy's Wagging Wood

Terms & Conditions of Use

Thank you for choosing our secure private dog exercise area.

The area has been created to provide dogs and their owners with a safe, secure and enjoyable space to exercise, play and have fun away from the distractions of public dog-walking areas.

The safety and wellbeing of every dog, their owners and our other visitors is our priority. By making a booking and using the space, you agree to follow these Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking & Session Times

The secure area is available to book in 25-minute and 55-minute sessions.

Your booking time includes entering, using and leaving the space.

Please allow sufficient time to arrive, get your dog ready and leave the area within your allocated session.

The final 5 minutes of your session should be used to put your dog(s) back on their lead, collect toys and belongings and vacate the space.

No booked session will be extended because of a late arrival.

Please ensure your dog(s) and belongings are back in your vehicle before the next booking arrives.

We ask all users to respect their allocated time so that the next customer can enter safely and without unnecessary contact between dogs.

2. Arrival

Because some of our visitors may have nervous, reactive or unsociable dogs, please do not allow dogs to mix during changeover.

When you arrive, keep your dog(s) safely inside your vehicle until the previous user has returned their dog(s) to their vehicle and has safely left the area.

Keep your dog(s) on a lead at all times until you are safely inside the secure area.

Do not allow your dog(s) to run around outside the area or approach another dog or vehicle.

Do not enter the secure area if another user is still inside.

Wait until the previous user has completely vacated the space before entering.

Please be considerate of other dogs who may not be comfortable meeting unfamiliar dogs.

3. Entering & Leaving

The area is securely enclosed, but it is essential that every user takes care when entering and leaving.

All dogs must remain on a lead when entering and leaving the space.

Ensure the gate is securely closed and locked behind you.

Never leave the gate open for the next user.

Before opening the gate to leave, put all dogs back securely on their leads.

Check that all dogs are safely under control before opening the gate.

Do not allow dogs to rush through open gates.

Do not climb on or over the fencing.

Do not climb on shelters or other structures.

The space is enclosed by approximately 1.2-metre-high fencing. We regularly inspect and maintain the area and fencing, but no fencing can be guaranteed to be completely escape-proof. Owners remain responsible for ensuring their dogs are safely controlled at all times.

Dogs must never be left unattended in the area.

You are responsible for your dog(s), their behaviour and their safety throughout your booking.
